Cookies and Sleds

Since I miss holiday treats like my mom's candy cane cookies and Gabi's cake balls, I decided the only way to get them would be to make them myself. So I did. And what great gifts to give....homemade cookies. Perfect. So below is a just a snapshot of my goodness. Everything turned out okay....expect for chocolate crackles...I blame the oven.
.

After we got over a foot of snow last saturday an immediate trip to Walmart was made to buy sleds. We went out with Hawkins and Sam on Sunday. Unfortunately most of where we went had so much powder it didn't make for a good sledding hill. BUT we did find this hill, which is technically a road.

We Moved!

Yes, we finally made it over to our house. The house is still a diseaster and I have ALOT of organizing and decorating. I think the task of decorating an entire house myself is a little daunting. It's okay, just one step at a time. First thing...get out of living in our suitcases.

Thanksgiving

Grant and I were grateful to travel home to California for Thanksgiving. Oh how I missed California...and it had only been 2 months! It sure seemed like longer. Sad to say, but I missed the freeway, chic fil a, panera bread, chipotle, and the convenience of Target being only 15 min away. I made to fit in all my food cravings before I had to come back to the land of only Angelina's home cooking and subway.  Here are some pictures from the wonderful week with friends and family.

First dinner back....Panera Bread + Pick up Stix.

Oh how I miss J-Villas with all the girls. These are some of the best nights. I love you girls! Thanks for being the best friends I could ever ask for.

I would like to note that this picture was taken by my niece, Alex, in the car on the way to Disneyland. She never likes to be in pictures, but for some reason loves to take pictures. Sam and Michaelene....I can't wait for you to come visit Grant and I!!!

Me and Momma at Disneyland. Alex didn't want to wear the pretty pink Minnie ears, so I decided to wear them instead. :)

Sisters. <3

We got together with the boys at Jon's house. I know Grant had a good time joking and quoting things I will never understand with his boys. But I had Christy on my side. lol.

The most adorable nephew ever!!!

The entire family on Thanksgiving day 2010

Daddy-O I love you.
